I became
addicted to sugar
at age 1

I had my
first blackout
at age 12

and
I didn’t go to
Old Rehab

until
I was
almost
58 years old

I must be diligent
in my recovery effort

I have no choice

I am a professional
life-long addict

I must follow the

If I don’t
do that
for 15 minutes
every day

I just might relapse
and die

I call on my

he will kill me

I have enjoyed
7 years of sobriety

As a result
I am finally happy

Yet I struggle
every day
to stay
clean and sober

I expect to
struggle with sobriety
until the day I die
