recovering addicts who

spiritual principle of karma
and they
never heard of Jesus

pray to God

I often
meditate about

moral questions
with answers
that are
not black and white

Answers that
are gray

(maybe yes
maybe no)

including
how
karmic energy
affects my
life
intentions
actions
and
inactions

I discovered

“What’s the
right thing to do
if anything?”

became the
easiest question

with some of the
hardest answers

during my recovery

Once I
stopped trying

to
control everything
around me

I increasingly
ran into such
moral questions

It’s the gray areas
that require a
good sponsor’s wisdom

Perhaps
in a
subsequent life

I’ll achieve great
wisdom and nirvana

Meanwhile
I get along OK
with
my sponsor’s wisdom

and

a little meditation
every now and then
