are the 12 Steps for me?

Q: Why does the 12-step program of recovery have such a low success rate?

A: Because, according to their tax returns that are publicly posted on IRS.gov, Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc. (A.A.) and Narcotics Anonymous World Services, Inc. (NA) are in the publishing business and are not in the addiction recovery business as they would like you to think and as most people believe.

A.A./NA’s primary business interest is in selling more books and the lower their actual success rate the more books they actually sell to newbies and relapsers. A.A.’s Alcoholics Anonymous (aka the “Big Book”) is the 30th most popular book of all time. Both A.A. and NA are thriving, successful 501(c)(3) nonprofit publishing corporations primarily because their recovery programs have such a low success rate. There is no business justification for A.A. or NA to reduce relapse, because the more A.A./NA relapsers there are the more books they sell.

AND THAT’S THE TRUTH
